Rebecca Powers is the Founder and CEO of The Girls Rock Network and Rock Solid Leadership Development and Consulting.

Rebecca Powers has committed herself in being a catalyst for positive change. Both her professional and personal background have put her in this unique position of being able to influence the life of others by applying real life experiences and knowledge. For this reason she dedicated herself to assisting others find their dreams and provide them with the tools necessary to achieve break-through results.

Prior to creating The Girls Rock Network and Rock Solid Leadership Development and Consulting, Rebecca Powers spent the last 10 years of her professional career working for Fortune 500 companies in various leadership and professional development roles. Rebecca’s last position in Corporate America was working as a Director of Sales for a department size of over 150 employees.

Rebecca Powers has a reputation for leading rock solid, goal achieving, record breaking, and profit producing rock star teams. In just one year she was able to bring 3 teams from 80 percent to over 100 percent. She also was able to promote 8 of her account managers to team leaders and 4 of her team leaders to managers. Through her innovational, motivational, educational and people focused leadership approach she has given herself a proven track record of success.

Rebecca Powers has transformed teams from zeros to heroes and coached her employees to next level promotions. In addition she has also written, published and facilitated her own material. Her influence and passion into the training of new hires and the managers has lead her to be a highly sought after candidate for leadership training.

Although professional life was blossoming for Rebecca her personal life was experiencing many hardships. In October of 2002, Rebecca’s mother passed away unexpectedly. Rebecca was at the young age of 23 when the death occurred and was left devastated by the loss. This life changing event was the first of a series of events that lead to very difficult and challenging times.

Rebecca Powers has lived with alcoholics and substance abusers, experienced the loss of her mother, had a failed marriage, is a mom of 2 beautiful children, been through 2 layoffs and suffered financial hardships. If that wasn’t hard enough Rebecca had to learn how to date all over again at nearly 30! Kidding aside, until she stopped the madness and negativity her personal life was spiraling out of control.

Then one day a miracle happened. Rebecca realized she wasn’t living her dream. She also realized that she deserved the very best life had to offer and began to take the steps to turn her life around. Once Rebecca was able to grasp that she was indeed a “Totally Rockin’ Chick” her life made a 180.

From her ability to move past adversity and step directly into her dream she has gained the confidence and experience to teach other’s to do the same. Because of this knowledge Rebecca has committed herself to assisting other women find their dreams and provides them the tools to achieve them. This was the inspiration for The Girls Rock Network.
